Lincoln Manufacturing is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Quality Document Control at our Houston, TX location. 

This is an hourly position with the possibility of overtime.
 
FUNCTION
Provides the necessary support to the Quality Director in accomplishing the execution of all Quality Document related duties.
Ensures that all tasks are completed accurately and as scheduled.
Ensure that the production and profit objectives of Lincoln Manufacturing, Inc. are met by providing organization, control, leadership and direction.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Responsible for ensuring the proper completion of daily, weekly and monthly Document Control reports. Work overtime as needed to meet daily or weekly goals.
  2. Responsible for ensuring that all Material Test Reports are available and scanned on time prior to starting production.
  3. Responsible for setting goals and objectives for the position and assisting in the development of the department's goals and objectives.
  4. Ensuring that all complete LMI heat numbers are closed.
  5. Responsible for ensuring all daily Receiving and other Inspections reports are filled in their respective heat numbers.
  6. Responsible for helping the management maintain the morale of the employees through teamwork.
  7. Responsible for helping the Quality Manager to develop a high performance team.
  8. Responsible for making sure all Certificate of Compliance forms are generated and sent to the customers on a time.
DUTIES
  1. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the Quality Dept. and at the working area.
  2. Attend all scheduled management, safety and/or training meetings.
  3. Ensure that all daily Quality documents are properly completed and submitted to the Quality Department and or other support departments prior to the end of each business day.
  4. Follow-up on all jobs “in progress” and maintain communication with the Quality & Production Managers, Shipping and key office personnel especially as it relates to information on potential schedule changes, possible quality problems, new submissions etc.
  5. Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in distributing controlled documents to all existing Lincoln’s Quality Assurance, Quality Procedures, Design Package Manuals and other controlled documents.
  6. Complete all required reports in the time allocated.
  7. Generate all Certificate of Compliance for all Lincoln Products.
  8. Report significant problems and trends to the Quality Manager.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  10. Organize complete heat files and file them after Quality Manager’s approval.
