Objection

The Supply Chain Manager provides the necessary supervision for all warehouse functions, ensures that all tasks are completed accurately and as scheduled. Helps provide the organization, control, leadership, and direction needed to ensure that the production and profit objectives of Lincoln Manufacturing, Inc. are met.

The position is salaried (exempt).
 

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager has the following Responsibilities.

  • Responsible for ensuring the proper completion of daily, weekly and monthly Inventory Control reports. Work through any issues brought out by these reports.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all routers are accurate and all documentation from outside vendors is collected.

  • Responsible for working with the Master Scheduler and shipping and receiving in setting goals and objectives for the position and assisting in the development of the department's goals and objectives.

  • Ensuring that all components have been purchased to meet all demand in Global Shop.

  • Responsible for insuring a reduced lead time of work orders through proper vendor management and warehouse efficiency.

 

Duties

The Supply Chain Manager performs the following duties.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Attend all scheduled management, safety and/or training meetings.

  • Ensure that all warehouse activities are properly completed and all paperwork is submitted to the appropriate departments prior to the end of each business day.

  • Follow- up on all jobs “in progress” and maintain communication with the Quality, and Production Managers, Shipping and key office personnel especially as it relates to information on potential schedule changes, new submissions etc.

  • The Supply Chain manger is responsible for distributing production documents to the appropriate purchase and warehouse personnel.

  • Complete all required reports in the time allocated.

  • Report significant problems and trends to the Production Plant Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Plant Manager.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Acceptable combination of education and experience, Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

  • 3-5 years in Supply Chain Management, O&G experience a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have exceptional organization skills and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Global Shop preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills required, Outlook and Excel a must.

  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and stay focused on task through completion.

  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.

  • Detail oriented
